I remembering when the area PBS station started carrying the TV version of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." I promptly bought the book and thus started my love of Douglas Adam's work. One of the parts I liked the best was the guide had "Don't Panic" on the cover. What a wonderful thought, there are a lot of things that should come with that stamped on the cover. It has always been my belief that any correspondance from the Internal Revenue Service should have those two words in red letters on the envelope.
This week has seen several people come in in a tizzy because they just got a letter from the IRS and they are sure that they are going to be arrested or their house seized any second. It is as if the letter renders your brain cells worthless. Maybe if the print "Don't Panic" on the envelope these people will have the ablity to read the letter and see that it is good news or not as bad as they are imagining.
